Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK)
On the Bukit Peninsula lies a park with its iconic majestic monument called Garuda Wisnu Kencana or simply known as GWK. Padang Padang Beach
Padang Padang Beach is one of Bali’s most famous surf spots. Locally known as Pantai Labuan Sait, this beach on the north-western coast of the island’s Bukit Peninsula has an exotic setting – a stunning 100 metre-long stretch of sand that’s accessible down a flight of stairs and through a unique hollow rock entrance.
Uluwatu Temple
Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu) is one of six key temples believed to be Bali’s spiritual pillars, is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above sea level.
Kecak Dance Uluwatu
During this dance, hundreds of men in black and white sarongs, sitting in a lotus position and raising their hands, say monotonously “ke-cak-ke-cak”. Men are sitting around the platform on which the dancers, in the light of the lamp, tell the story of Rama and Sita. This dance is one of the youngest in Bali.
